What is WYAG Home Management?
WYAG is a residential property management company. The name was derived from the phrase: While you are gone (WYAG). The company will help homeowners manage as well as take care of their home and property While You Are Gone (WYAG). WYAG is all about top notch customer service, attention to detail, as well as your peace of mind. The owner of the company, Chad Odom, has been in the customer service business for over 30 years. His attention to detail and level of customer service is the highest priority when taking care of you and your home and property.
How does it work?
We have three tiers of property management from the very basic to the high end, depending on your needs. WYAG will keep eyes on your property as if you were at home. A walk through of the property will be done with the property owner. Once complete, WYAG will take care of your property WHILE YOU ARE GONE. We are available 24 hours per day, seven days a week for emergencies. Our company is fully insured. Please see the following list of work that will be done during your absence and the related costs.
Services Available:
Inside Services
- Walk through the interior once weekly.(More if requested)
- Check the light system/change lights 10 feet or less in height. (provided
by the owner) - Check indoor alarms/home security systems working properly.
- Check operations of refrigerators, freezers, wine cellars, heating and air,
and other operating equipment. - Check heating and change air filters (provided by the homeowner)
- Flush toilets
- Check fire/smoke, carbon monoxide, and natural gas detectors.
- Check water pressure, and hot water temperature
- Check temperature settings
- Check for water leaks
- Answer emergency calls from the Alarm company. Meet the sheriff dept.
to make sure home is safe.
Outside Services
- Walk through exterior of property daily
- Pick up mail/newspaper
- Check pool/functioning properly/clean
- Irrigation walk through
- Lawn service walk through
- Check on property after severe storm/winter/weather damage
- Check boats, docks, and other recreational vehicles to make sure they
are secure and safe. - Pick up any packages delivered to the exterior of the property and place
inside the home. (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.) - Check the light system outdoors
- Start automobiles weekly
- Check golf carts/batteries/water
- Watering plants (interior/porch/decks that are not covered by an irrigation
system) - Check garbage and recycling receptacles/walk to and from the road
- Check front and back doors, driveway
Property Check In’s
- 24 hour notice of Arrival on property (by email)
- Days Specified for check in’s
- Departure times for each check in on property
- Email/text will be sent to the property owner for complete details of property walk through
Optional Services
- Meet service people for house schedule services-exterminator, pool maintenance, landscaping, maid service, cable, etc.
- Grocery service-pick up orders from grocery stores/stock fridge upon your return home.
- Orders need to be placed 1-2 days before arrival home.
- Pet Care
- Change air filters ($49 plus filters)
- Transport to and from the airport. (2 Weeks Prior Notice: Coming in 2024)
